Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Copilot harness in Foundry Agent Service (public preview), plus GA of long-running resilience for hosted agents. The unified harness strategy gives a shared execution foundation across Microsoft's agent experiences while letting developers pick models and choose how much of the agent stack to build themselves — a fully managed loop for reasoning, tool use, and complex long-running tasks.
