Google's Gemini 4 Carbon scored 59 to claim the top spot on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5.0, overtaking Claude Opus 5.5 with Thinking (58), with GPT-6 Sol (57) and Aura 2.5 (55) rounding out the top four.
The index aggregates 9 evaluations including AA-Briefcase, AutomationBench-AA, Terminal-Bench 4.0, FrontierCode 2.0, GDPdP, HLE-Diamond and CRIPP-V2. The top model has no publicly available API yet.
