Dad one-shots a wizard-dragon math game with Claude, his first grader is hooked
neuroecology · x · 2026-10-29
A parent shares how his first grader wanted timed addition/subtraction practice, so they built a game around the kid's idea: play a wizard dragon gathering gold coins to buy spaceship rooms, upgrading to a space station, planet, then galaxy. Built with a one-shot Claude prompt (screenshot: Star Dragon Kingdom with multiple modes). The kid plays obsessively, learned the keyboard, memorizes tables fast, and the adaptive difficulty drills his weakest problems most.
