Indie dev builds proactive AI run coach that lives in iMessage
samuelkraft · x · 2026-10-28
Indie developer samuelkraft launched Shape, an AI coach for runners, cyclists and triathletes that lives in iMessage. Every morning it texts a training plan based on Garmin metrics, checks in after every run, and adjusts proactively—e.g. suggesting swapping intervals for an easy 40 when sleep was short and resting heart rate spiked. It follows endurance sports science (build blocks, recovery weeks, taper), plans strength work with Hevy/Strong integrations, and differs from ChatGPT/Claude by reading every workout and reaching out on its own. Waitlist signups are open with onboarding starting this week.
