NVIDIA NeMo Speech hits 5.33% English / 4.62% multilingual WER among open models

NVIDIA's NeMo Speech open-weight ASR model reports #1 among open-weight models on English Open ASR (5.33% WER) and 4.62% mean WER across 7 languages for multilingual Open ASR. It uses an audio encoder plus a hybrid Mamba–Transformer MoE with 4.3B active parameters including the encoder.
