Chutes joins SayGM: TEE-served open models behind one API gateway
markjeffrey · x · 2026-10-28
Decentralized inference platform Chutes is now an upstream provider for SayGM, an LLM gateway built on Bittensor subnet 28 that offers Claude, GPT, Gemini and open-weight models with one API key, running inside an Intel TDX trusted execution environment.
Key points:
- SayGM (subnet 28) handles the gateway, billing and routing; Chutes (subnet 64) serves open-weight models in hardware-attested TEEs with end-to-end encryption, marked by a -tee suffix on model IDs
- Routing is done by independent inference providers on subnet 28, each holding its own Chutes key sealed inside a TEE
- Existing Chutes users see no changes to keys, endpoints or model catalog
