Martin Schrimpf, creator of Brain-Score and head of the NeuroAI Lab at EPFL, announced he is co-founding Read/Write Labs (formerly Dandelion Science), a neuroscience-AI company building an industry-first AI platform that "writes code for the brain" — reading and writing information via neural interfaces to treat brain disorders and enhance cognition, while exploring how biological intelligence can inform more human-centered AI.
The expanded team includes MIT professor Jim DiCarlo, Dan Yamins, and Stephen Wolfram as scientific fellows/advisors, with co-founder Adam Hanina as CEO. Headquartered in Boston and Geneva.
