Sony CSL open-sources Cortex: durable file-based framework for long-running LLM agent work
umpedronosapato · x · 2026-10-28
Sony CSL Paris open-sourced Cortex (MIT license), a file-native operating environment for long-running human-agent work: persistent context, project continuity, and coordinated specialized agents across local and remote machines. Demo use case: a sweep worker that compares finished runs, launches the next useful experiment, uses only allocated GPUs and logs every decision. The repo organizes work via conductor inboxes, roles, protocols and templates.
