Solana founder: humans see reality first, and that ontological edge keeps them in the AI loop
robleclerc · x · 2026-10-28
Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko lays out a positioning argument for the AI era: in business you're disintermediated if you don't own the customer relationship — and an analogous structure holds between humans and AI, because humans own the relationship with reality while AI only sees what we feed it.
That puts humans in an ontological, epistemological and temporal privileged position: AI can't get in front of us to spot real-world opportunities, so we get to employ AI on our own behalf as we see openings, rather than being cut out of the loop.
Quoted @yishan agrees: nearly every job disappears except a small fraction of creatively-oriented leadership roles and human-relational ones like in-person sales and recruiting.
