Omarchy 4.5 RC2 ships per-monitor workspaces, floating layout with dock, and 4 new apps
mark_k · x · 2026-10-28
Omarchy 4.5 RC2 is a big release: each monitor now gets its own workspaces, switchable between tiling, scrolling and floating layouts (floating includes a dock), plus redesigned notifications, 50-language support, video wallpapers, and a new Appearance menu.
- Four new default apps: Hype (Markdown presentations), Signed (PDFs), Disktree (disk usage), Monologue (camera recordings), plus a Quake-style terminal on Super+Grave
- New F1 installer is much faster; quicker boot and theme switching; support for NVIDIA N1x and Snapdragon laptops
- Still a release candidate — back up or snapshot first; switch to the RC channel under Update > Channel to try it
