Former Sora user says official export may be missing half his 4,000 items, unverifiable

A former Sora user details a three-month dispute with OpenAI Support: he remembers 4,000 historical items, but official exports appear to contain only about half, and the old Library (Likes, Favorites, My Media) is inaccessible, making verification impossible. OpenAI Support confirmed in writing it cannot compare exports against the former Library, cannot confirm completeness, and has no other retrieval method — while historical data may eventually be permanently deleted. Since July he has asked for a temporary read-only Library or a verified manifest, including before the Sept 24 API shutdown; nothing was provided. He is not asking for generation to return, only a way to verify and preserve his data.
