Google DeepMind research scientist Kory Mathewson introduced himself as working on generative AI models and agents, with a decade of improv comedy on the side and a mission to put great technology in creative people's hands.
Former web developer Tom (TomLikesRobots) replied with his IMDB page showing he worked as an AI/digital artist via Metaphysic on major 2024-2025 productions including F1, Alien: Romulus, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Happy Gilmore 2, and Eminem's "Houdini" video — calling this an era where "the friction between idea and product is disappearing."
