Leaker testingcatalog reports that Google's Gemini Notebook will soon get Connectors support, with Google Drive as the first and only integration at launch.
Key details:
- Users will be able to ask Gemini to search Google Drive files directly from chat, with an option to turn it off
- The Drive connector is described as searching and retrieving documents within your workspace while leaving original files untouched
- Marketing copy hints at syncing notes and automating tasks across apps, suggesting more connectors are planned
More Connectors are expected later, though the leaker jokes about hoping they arrive faster than the historical pace of 1-5 per year.
