georgemillo · x · 2026-10-28
A viral satirical thermometer chart ranks Europe's priorities from most to least important: paper straws, tax hikes, GDPR compliance and USB-C standardization at the top — while building AI data centers and creating globally competitive tech companies sit at the bottom.
The post mocks Europe's regulatory-first approach, implying the continent prioritizes rules over the infrastructure and companies that will determine AI-era competitiveness.
