Per The Verge, Apple is bringing an AI assistant (beta) to Keynote, Pages and Numbers, built on Apple and OpenAI models:
- Pages: draft, restructure and tweak written content
- Keynote: understands document context to design, animate and refine slides
- Numbers: calculate, visualize and organize data, suggest chart types, build custom tables
Notably, the three apps now support Model Context Protocol on macOS 27+, letting third-party AI agents plug in. The assistant rolls out to Apple Intelligence-capable devices on iOS 27 / iPadOS 27 / macOS 27+. Pixelmator Pro also gains a Generate Fill feature for prompt-based partial image edits.
