jobergum's RAG-variant meme list pokes fun at the hype: vanillaRAG, grepRAG, DecisionRAG and more
jobergum · x · 2026-10-28
jobergum jokes about RAG concept proliferation with a meme list of variants: vanillaRAG, xgboostRAG, graphRAG, hyperRAG, pgRAG, bm25RAG, keywordRAG, sqlRAG, hideRAG, grepRAG, ngramRAG, dnnRAG, freshRAG — later adding DecisionRAG. The list doubles as a tongue-in-cheek tour of real retrieval-augmented approaches, resonating with devs tired of RAG buzzword inflation.
