Diyi_Yang · x · 2026-10-28
Former CEA chair Jason Furman endorses a major overhaul of ONET, the official US database tracking tasks required by different jobs. Long invaluable for labor and automation research, it clearly needed improvement — and the need is greater than ever in the AI era. Contributors include Jenn Wang, Erik Brynjolfsson, and Diyi Yang. Furman: "looks like we'll all be using it."
