Open-source pipeline turns AI video into real PBR textures on 3D models
PurzBeats · x · 2026-10-28
Developer Odin Lovis shared a prototype concept: turning an AI-generated video into a real texture on a 3D model. The pipeline: a clay Ferrari made in Blender → Seedance 2.5 restyles the orbit turntable → nvdiffrast projects every frame onto the mesh → Seedream 5 Pro cleans the texture atlas → PATINA converts it into true PBR materials. The result features real UVs and real 3D, and the pipeline is open source.
