ArtificialAnlys · x · 2026-10-28
Alongside Intelligence Index v5, Artificial Analysis launched Progress Index v1, placing all language models released since November 2022 on a single capability scale across a wide span of benchmarks, enabling comparisons between models released years apart. The Intelligence Index remains the primary measure of the current frontier. Design built on learnings from Epoch AI's Capabilities Index. The chart shows steady steep capability gains from late 2022 to now across all major labs.
