SK Hynix reported Q3 (July-September) results that crushed analyst estimates:
- Revenue: 104.62 trillion won vs. 98.34 trillion won expected, up 327.9% YoY and 31.9% QoQ
- Operating profit: 83.33 trillion won vs. 76.72 trillion won expected, up 632.1% YoY and 37.6% QoQ
As the leading HBM supplier to AI accelerator makers, the results underscore how AI compute demand is transforming the memory chip supply chain.
