Google DeepMind's Gemini Robotics ER 2 is now in public preview on Google Cloud. The embodied reasoning model acts as a robot's high-level brain across any embodiment — from arms to humanoids — combining spatio-temporal video understanding, long-horizon planning, and safety guardrails to orchestrate low-level action models, execute multi-minute tasks with hundreds of decisions, and coordinate multi-robot teams, now with enterprise-grade security and lifecycle management.
