YC CEO Garry Tan shared his Capy "software factory" October stats: 860 PRs merged in 27 days (481 gbrain, 246 gstack, 133 gbrain-evals), peaking at 1,241 contributions and 45 PRs in a single day, with 19,101 contributions in the past year.
He runs 10–20 subagents at all times (GStack and GBrain) coordinated by Capy Captains. Notable shipped work:
- Oct 26: the agent factory "shipped itself" — converging review loop, ship-receipt gating before merges, weekly tagged releases, 520 MB smaller install
- Oct 5: verified PGLite-to-Postgres migration preserving history, sync from 3.4 to 150 pages/min, an attested security scanner
