Researchers Build an Adaptive AI Interviewer to Scale Occupational Task Inventories
soumitrashukla9 · x · 2026-10-28
Researchers built an adaptive AI interviewer (TaskNet Interviewer) that probes workers with task-level coverage and adaptive follow-ups, then has workers verify each task ("I do this / I don't", with an option to add missed tasks), aggregating interviews into occupational task inventories. Worker interviews offer rich detail, but collecting and synthesizing them at scale is costly — this approach aims to get high-quality task data cheaply.
