Anthropic partners with six drug developers as Claude speeds up drug discovery
Dr_Singularity · x · 2026-10-28
Anthropic's life sciences team is working with six medicine developers — BigHat Biosciences, Bristol Myers Squibb, Divergence Labs, Enveda, Generate Biomedicines and The Column Group — while also running its own drug discovery programs targeting rare childhood muscular dystrophies. Claude handles much of the scientific and operational work, helping improve experimental treatments and cut development paperwork. Anthropic's strategy: get deeply involved in real drug programs across disease areas and stages, since bottlenecks are distributed across the whole pipeline, and scale the effort up substantially.
