Stanford Digital Economy Lab launched TaskNet, an occupational taxonomy built from workers' own accounts at scale, to study AI's impact on work:
- Pipeline: 132 worker interviews (with an AI interviewer eliciting missed tasks) → 2,726 task reports grouped by goal and action → validation via 318 raters and ONET analysts with 7,923 ratings
- Standard: statements checked against ONET standards; tasks kept only if rated relevant by at least a quarter of workers
- CSV download and per-occupation browsing are live
