Anthropic partners with six drug developers to accelerate medicine with Claude
nlarusstone · x · 2026-10-28
Anthropic's life sciences team reports early progress on accelerating drug development with Claude, through deep partnerships with six organizations: BigHat Biosciences, Bristol Myers Squibb, Divergence Labs, Enveda, Generate Biomedicines, and The Column Group. It has also started in-house drug discovery efforts, including programs for rare childhood muscular dystrophy. The strategy: AI is involved across the entire pipeline — target identification, molecule design, manufacturability, regulatory filings, and clinical trials — since bottlenecks are distributed throughout, with plans to scale substantially.
