Anthropic IPO: Goldman lead underwriter, Goldman and Morgan Stanley could each earn ~$100M

Per NYT, Goldman Sachs has taken the lead-left spot on Anthropic's IPO prospectus, reversing September reports favoring Morgan Stanley, which now serves as stabilization agent for first-day trading — mirroring the two banks' roles on SpaceX's record June IPO. If Anthropic follows that playbook ($500M fee pool, each lead bank earning $100M, 20 others splitting $300M), both banks would pocket roughly $100M; Anthropic hasn't disclosed its fees. Notably, Morgan Stanley also co-led a $63B Broadcom financing for chips sold to Anthropic — the bank pricing Anthropic's shares is also financing its compute supply.
