The anonymous biotech Twitter account 'Professor Oak' revealed itself as Cody Tranbarger, founder of Mithril Medicine — a one-person company developing bsAbs for LAMA2-CMD and other ECM-related genetic diseases — which Anthropic has acquired. Tranbarger's background spans VC, crossover investing and startups; Mithril was his way of staying connected to biotech while building hands-on over the past 18 months.
