Kinex physical coding agent self-evolves to solve all 365 RoboCasa tasks in 7 rounds
daibond_alpha · x · 2026-10-28
The Stacx team equipped the Kinex physical agent with a self-improving (RSI) architecture: starting from an empty skill library, its coding agent evolved 6 canonical skills and 70 functions over seven rounds and solved all 365 RoboCasa tasks. Kinex pitches itself as "one agent for any robot" — it adapts to your hardware, runs in simulation or on real devices (incl. ROS 2), and learns from every run. Installable on macOS/Ubuntu with plugins for Pi, Codex, and Claude Code. The demo shows the full workflow: RGB-D perception, writing scripts to backproject pixel coordinates, solving kinematics, and servoing arms with 0.44mm precision.
