Cline Desktop v0.0.49 adds local model support: you can install and manage models through Ollama or LM Studio, with Cline checking your hardware and recommending the best local models available (Settings → Provider → Local). The UI shows your machine specs, warns when models will run CPU-only without a supported GPU, and displays loaded-model memory usage and an unload option.
