Cisco launches Model Foundry: partners can deploy and fine-tune its purpose-built domain AI models
aminkarbasi · x · 2026-10-28
At Partner Summit, Cisco introduced Model Foundry, a new platform service in Cisco Cloud Control letting partners access, deploy, and fine-tune Cisco's purpose-built models on customer data.
Cisco argues general-purpose models still struggle at real operational work — diagnosing lost routes, finding vulnerable files in a million-line codebase, spotting the one interface that matters in a week of telemetry. The thesis: a model that already knows the domain, then learns your customer on partner-owned data and relationships.
