PrunaAI released a set of 6-step LoRA adapters for Qwen-Image-2.1 on Hugging Face:
- Image generation or editing drops from 40 steps to 6; two variants: 6-steps for preserving inputs when editing, 6-steps-upsampled for better visual quality.
- 6-steps-upsampled is the first distillation that removes the separate prompt-upsampling step, saving 41–80 seconds depending on prompt style.
- The LoRAs load directly on top of Qwen-Image-2.1 with no pipeline changes; few-step distillation cuts diffusion cost and eliminates the pre-generation prompt upsampling.
