One llama.cpp instance serves 8 agents with 1.9x token throughput on M4 Pro
cong_ml · x · 2026-10-27
All eight agents share one copy of Flint in llama.cpp, which batches their requests. On an M4 Pro, eight concurrent requests yield 1.9x the tokens per second of a single request — each agent writes slower, but together they produce nearly twice as much. A key engineering detail for local multi-agent setups.
