Hide & Sneak: a free Chrome extension that hides 2FA codes from AI browser agents
SmolBrainBuilder · reddit · 2026-10-27
A Redditor built Hide & Sneak, a free open-source Chrome extension (made with Claude) for people handing tasks to browser agents like Claude in Chrome. Agent Mode swaps sensitive data for placeholders like [2FA CODE], locks fields you should fill yourself (SSN, salary), strips hidden prompt-injection bait text, and offers a screen-sharing mode for Zoom/Teams calls. It runs fully locally. Beta limitations: can't hide text in images/PDFs and won't stop a deliberately circumventing agent.
