Agents are jamming the App Store: stuck reviews spiked from 31 to 292 per week in a month

Minqi Jiang argues the shift from centralized app stores to personal software is self-reinforcing: agents make many third-party apps unnecessary, and as agents get better at coding, building such apps becomes relatively costlier.
His evidence: App Store "stuck review" reports jumped from 31–48 per week in September to 105 (Oct 5), 180 (Oct 12) and 292 (Oct 19–26) — a roughly 9x monthly surge he attributes to an agent-driven stampede of app submissions.
