United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby confirmed passengers are switching to United solely for Starlink's high-speed internet, saying "free was never the value proposition. Fast is the value proposition."
- 661 aircraft equipped, 3 more daily; 5.4M+ passengers experienced Starlink in September
- Half of daily flights covered; 61% by end-2026, 87% by June 2027, full fleet by end-2027
- United now operates more daily Starlink flights than the rest of the US airline industry combined
