Hugging Face ships native TPU support via TorchTPU, no torch_xla or JAX needed

Hugging Face announced native TPU support through TorchTPU, a native PyTorch backend that makes TPU "just another device": pick a model from the Hub and send it to "tpu". Transformers, Diffusers and Kernels now run natively on TPUs, and the older Optimum TPU layer is no longer required. Previously PyTorch users had to port to torchxla (lazy tensors, graph recompiles, hard debugging) or learn JAX. TPUs are Google's in-house accelerators used to train and serve Gemini, rentable on Google Cloud from single chips to multi-thousand-chip pods.
