The 2026 Strebulaev-Jackson AI Venture Ranking scores the world's top 100 AI-focused venture capitalists on their US-based AI investments, net of cost, dilution and decay. Matthew Murphy (Menlo Ventures) tops the list, followed by Guru Chahal and Ben Horowitz (a16z), Josh Kushner (Thrive) and David George (a16z), with names like Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel and Reid Hoffman also ranked. Notably, Anthropic — which just filed for IPO — is the single highest-scoring AI investment for 20 investors on the list.
