X forced a paid-partnership label on Linus Ekenstam's unpaid Kimi post to unsuspend his account

Fallout from the Kimi K3.1 Pro fake-review saga: Linus Ekenstam revealed that X's automated system forced a Paid Partnership label onto his unpaid post about the model, requiring him to accept the label just to unlock his suspended account—even though he has publicly stated Kimi never paid him or even approached him.
He called the mechanism unacceptable: the platform unilaterally decided he was paid, with no easy way to prove otherwise, eroding trust after nearly two decades on the app. He asked X's Peter Sellis to make it easier to contest false payment flags. Earlier he had also publicly called out Kimi for allegedly buying fake hype, arguing it dragged down an otherwise impressive launch.
