A Redditor used Claude Code to patch MLB The Show 16 on the RPCS3 emulator, restoring online play for a game Sony shut down in 2020 and that never had a PC release (last licensed PC MLB game was 2K12). Cost $210 and 16 hours total with Opus, automating reverse-engineering via Ghidra MCP and RenderDoc MCP. A launcher runs a replacement server locally, RPCS3 redirects old Sony addresses, and RPCN negotiates P2P connections; five patches bypass the 'ONLINE DISABLED' popup and server-dependent checks. Tested full 9-inning online games PC vs PC. Apache 2.0, with docs on reviving other PS3 games.
