Tesla released new FSD (Supervised) safety data, retweeted by Elon Musk claiming FSD is 10x safer than driving a non-Tesla:
- FSD (Supervised): one major collision per 6,006,200 miles
- Manual with active safety features: 2,031,221 miles
- Manual without active safety: 845,915 miles
- US average: 660,164 miles
FSD has logged 9.48B miles with 1,579 major collisions. Caveats: self-reported data, supervised mode, and base demographics differ from the US average.
