CapCut plugin coming to ChatGPT: AI-driven video editing via chat commands
Aiden_Tech_Ai · x · 2026-10-27
The author outlines a workflow for having ChatGPT control CapCut Web: install the plugin from CapCut Web's Video Editor (plugin icon, copy the install prompt, paste into ChatGPT desktop to authorize), then ask ChatGPT to pick clips, sequence shots, trim footage and add transitions. They plan a group edit by listing clips per person and letting the AI arrange them. Early access is live on ChatGPT desktop, with mobile and web support expected mid-November. The feature was discussed at CapCut World with leading creators and OpenAI.
