AEGIS: open-source MCP gateway ties one-use approvals to exact tool arguments
Leather_Tour_794 · reddit · 2026-10-27
Ruslan of Escape Studio released AEGIS, a free MIT-licensed MCP security gateway. It validates the tool catalog and schema, then requires a one-use approval bound to the exact tool and arguments before forwarding a call—changing args voids the approval. The Windows beta also reviews skills/projects/agent profiles for risky command patterns and allows pausing recognized processes after identity checks.
