PSI's AI research system cracks five open quantum information problems, with Lean proofs

Physical Superintelligence PBC (PSI) announced new results on five long-standing open problems in quantum information theory, obtained with its AI research system. Each result ships with a paper, a Lean formalization, and verification code; the release repo documents how AI was used. Highlights: for Werner states with local dimension d≥3, Bell pairs cannot be distilled from three copies when 1/d<α≤37/80; vacuum entanglement at arbitrarily large separations cannot violate CHSH beyond a finite distance; Fourier-phase measurements are optimal for CGLMP Bell violations; and any 2(d−1) PPT maps on a d-dimensional system suffice to break entanglement (complementing a recent OpenAI preprint showing two don't).
