Schmidhuber at Sakana AI symposium: superintelligent robots will build Dyson spheres
BertChakovsky · x · 2026-10-27
Sakana AI hosted a symposium for Jürgen Schmidhuber; attendee BertChakovsky shared photos and the closing transhumanist discussion: superintelligent robots will explore the galaxy, perhaps build Dyson spheres, and solve their own AI-AI alignment, while humans enjoy a simple life on Earth minding human-human alignment.
Slides also revisited his NNAISENSE 2014 motto 'AI For All': AI gets 10x cheaper every 5 years, won't be controlled by a few big companies, and everyone will own cheap but powerful AIs improving their lives.
