ETH verification team: no NDAs, no pay, raw data release requested from OpenAI
rrwilliams · x · 2026-10-27
In a follow-up, Ryan Williams detailed the transparency commitments behind the independent examination of OpenAI's claimed ETH refutation: the team signed no NDAs and receives no compensation, leaving them free to share ongoing findings with the community throughout the process.
They have formally asked OpenAI to publicly release all raw data related to the claim as soon as possible, including the proof's PDFs and Lean source code, so the community can independently verify it.
