Google's AI Overview badly fumbled a classic riddle — "A man has two, a king has four, a beggar has none" — by interpreting it as literal letter counts: it confidently explained that "man" has two letters, "king" has four, and "beggar" contains no letters, complete with a bulleted breakdown. Screenshots of the answer went viral.
