OpenAI announced GPT-6.1 Terra results on Agents' Last Exam, a benchmark testing how well agents use complex professional software: Terra matches Astra-level performance while completing tasks over 3x faster at one-tenth the cost per token.
OpenAI positions it for interpreting technical drawings, analyzing images, navigating interfaces, and automating visual workflows. GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Astra remain the most capable models for specialized coding, research, and deeper reasoning. Terra is live on the API and Codex.
