Omarchy-a brings DHH's Omarchy desktop natively to iPad 6 via one-command install
mark_k · x · 2026-10-27
An experimental project (omarchy-a) ports Omarchy—an Arch Linux ARM-based desktop reworked for touch—to the iPad 6, installable with one command on a Mac/Linux host (needs 10-20 GB free, USB cable; use the Resize app to make room first). Currently supports iPad 6 Wi-Fi only, no GPU acceleration, and uses tethered boot: after a cold restart a host computer must run 'orchard launch'. Experimental, back up your data; 70 stars on GitHub.
