Anthropic has officially filed its S-1 for an IPO under ticker "ANT," setting up one of the most closely watched public debuts in modern US history.
Key figures from the filing:
- Revenue: $16.3B in H1 2026, up from $1.2B in the year-ago period
- Operating loss: $693M, sharply improved from $2.1B in H1 2025
- Net loss: $80.7B, driven mostly by noncash accounting adjustments on convertible debt; the company warns it "may not achieve or sustain profitability"
- Enterprise traction: 11,900+ customers spending $100K+/year and 1,900 spending $1M+ as of end of September; more than half of $100K+ customers (vs 30% late last year) now use both the Claude platform and a first-party app like Claude Code or Cowork
The filing also details the company's unusual governance structure, after weeks of leaked S-1 excerpts.
